If they’re so great, why aren’t the car companies buying them?

We see (and hear) this question from potential customers.

We are, in fact, talking to several auto manufacturers. As you can imagine it take several years to get a new product into full automaker production due to their testing requirements and long-range supply commitments. But, we expect to have Pulstar on several 2011 model year cars…”Pulstar inside!” to borrow a slogan. In the meantime, we stand by our product claims with a four-point guarantee.

I was impressed with your web site. However there are two areas of interest which you leave unaddressed. I enjoy jet skiing and am interested in improving performance and reducing pollution. Most jet skis use two stroke motors. I assume that I will need to use your direct hits product.

What kind of performance results should be expected on two stroke motors?
Are your products susceptible to water damage?
What is the cost of Direct Hits?
And if I buy Direct Hits can I use them for more than one set of plugs (ie. just change out the plugs, but get indefinite DIrect Hits performance?

Your product is too expensive. It reflects your desire to get the most profit out of each plug, rather than a desire to get the product into the hands of the most people. You won”t convince me that it costs any where near $3.00 per plug to produce.

Thanks jb

Thanks for you response. Yes, you can use DirectHits on jet skis…works great! And you can used on several sets of plugs. DirectHits routinely lasts the life of the car and can be transferred to several sets of non-resistor spark plugs. You will find DirectHits (S-80) on http://www.pulstar.com.

As to the price of our products…building a high power capacitor into a spark plug is no easy task. You might wonder why it hasn’t been done before even through the first patents to do so were issued in 1919! It requires special processing that no spark plug requires. Over time we expect the price to go down as we gain experience and volume.

Best.

Dan
